Welcome to the Underground Stonemeade

STONEMEADE.COM

The owners wish to warn people looking at houses in Stonemeade that the HOA Board is out of control.

As long-time Homeowners in the Stonemeade Subdivision, we wish to warn people interested in purchasing a home here, to be aware of serious problems with the Stonemeade Homeowners Association Board Members.  They have repeatedly ignored the Covenant and By-laws of our subdivision.  They have targeted, threatened, and bullied at will.  The sense of community in Stonemeade has been terribly damaged due to the Board's agenda- driven, single- issue rants and pursuits.

The most recent outrage has been the bandwagon approach to a disgruntled homeowner on Millbrook Drive who wanted no parking on the street. The woman wanted her mentally handicapped child to ride her 3-wheel adult tricycle in Millbrook, and objected to the single parked car on Millbrook. Not only should her disabled child NOT be riding in the street because of the extreme danger, the street has sidewalks on both sides. Despite the facts that Millbrook is a quiet, 3-lane wide street, Board Members joined the disgruntled Homeowner and claimed the street was hazardous and of great danger to the children of the neighborhood, petitioned, and now approx. 11-12 unsightly NO PARKING signs will soon be lining this safe street.  So a street with NO ACCIDENTS, sidewalks on both sides, again, 3 LANES WIDE, will be unlawful to park on. Homeowners will be unable to park there for any reason.  Yet, Stonemeade Drive, the main artery into Stonemeade Subdivision, remains free to park on, irregardless of the Pool/Playground Area, in which children really are in danger since the parked cars often do block the vision of those adults driving in or out of the subdivision.

We hope to more fully discuss the disturbing behavior and details of the Board and its negative impact on Stonemeade in the near future.  We have many to tell!!

If you have had your own alarming experiences with the Stonemeade HOA, we encourage you to e-mail us your story!   We know many many Homeowners whose rights have been trampled on, who have been wrongfully accused of things they are innocent of, and because of the outrageous doings of the Board, have grown to despise the neighborhood and hope to move.

I recommend Stonemeade Subdivision to no one.
